Exceptions / problem areas:
Diagnostic failure rate from these Turbo Actuators:
80% have a mechanical failure in the Turbo Actuator Gearbox. We offer these complete HIGH QUALITY aftermarket Actuator Gearbox, with a 2 year warranty.
20% have an electronic failure, in the control unit
(which is assembled in the black plastic cover).

Failure Analysis:
Sacer has done extensive research, to the reason, why the original actuator gearbox fails. Due to the extensive friction, between the teeth of the worm wheel and the PCB wheel (marked in red), the power/force of the electric DC motor reduces, which in the long term will break. This friction is caused due to wear and tear of the teeth from both the worm wheel as well as the PCB wheel.

Alternative remanufacturing methods, such as replacing just the DC motor, or the DC motor with gear wheel, are only short term solutions.

To rectify the original cause of the failure, the pcb gear needs changing as well.
